Tools and simulation services provided by ALTER
This webinar aims to give an insight into ALTER Technology´s engineering activities and introduce our radiation engineering and Radiation Hardness Assurance department.
We will cover the process of environment definition, which leads to the redaction of the space environment specification document. We will also show how we are able to quantify the TID, TNID, and SEE (SEU, SEL, SEFI, etc.) rates on components and materials on a satellite in orbit.
At ALTER Technology, we are aware of the evolving space industry and each person’s different needs, which is why we are able to adapt our activities to both the “Classic Space” and “New Space” communities.
Speaker
Katrina Elsey
Miss Katrina Elsey is a Radiation Effects Engineer at Alter Technology France. She is a graduate from ELISA Aerospace Bordeaux, where she studied Aerospace Engineering. She worked with Montpellier University’s Space Centre (CSUM), studying the radiation environment and its effects on the MT-CUBE 2 CubeSat. She joined Alter Technology France to contribute to our Radiation Engineering department, focusing on radiation level calculations on orbit, shielding optimization, and customer support.
