Silicon-based dielectrics such as silicon dioxide and silicon nitride are commonly used in high-density capacitors
Supercapacitors with very high capacitance values and low voltages are the bridge between the capacitors and the batteries. They are mainly used as back-up devices for the power shut-down of microcomputers and RAMs, smart meters, POE network devices, alarm systems, etc.
