Issue 199 of ESCC QUALIFIED PART LIST (QPL)

The changes in issue 199 of ESCC QUALIFIED PART LIST (QPL) are included in the DCR 1282 and detailed herein below:
Removed certificates:
- Certificates 233 and 234 from ST Microelectronics Rennes (France). These certificates list NPN and PNP bipolar transistors, included in the detail specifications ESCC 5201/001, ESCC 5201/002, ESCC 5201/003, ESCC 5201/004, ESCC 5201/011, ESCC 5201/019, ESCC 5203/010, ESCC 5203/016, ESCC 5207/002, ESCC 5202/001, ESCC 5202/002, ESCC 5202/014, ESCC 5204/002, ESCC 5204/006, ESCC 5207/005. All variants, except bipolar transistors assembled with metal-can packages TO-18, TO-39, TO-77, TO-78, have been included into the new certificate 361.
New certificate:
- Certificate 361 from ST Microelectronics Rennes (France). This certificate lists bipolar transistors from removed certificates 233 and 234, and newly qualified dual complementary NPN-PNP transistors based on type 2T3360, included in the detail specification ESCC 5207/009.
Re-scope:
- Certificate 274Grev1 from ST Microelectronics Rennes (France). This certificate lists power rectifiers diodes based on types BYW81 and BYV54, included in the detail specifications ESCC 5103/029, ESCC 5103/031, ESCC 5103/032. The scope of the certificate has changed, new high voltage rectifiers diodes based on types STTH40200 and STTH60200, included in the detail specification ESCC 5103/033, have been qualified.
Extension:
- Certificate 132Q from Axon Cable (France). This certificate lists low frequency wires and cables, included in the detail specifications ESCC 3901/001, ESCC 3901/002. The initial qualification of this components was on January of 1979. The scope of the certificate has not changed, which means no new components have been included.
- Certificates 292E and 293E from Axon Cable (France). These certificates list low-frequency wires and cables, included in the detail specifications ESCC 3901/013, ESCC 3901/021. The initial qualification of these components was in June of 2009. The scope of the certificate has not changed, which means no new components have been included.
- Certificate 298E from Axon Cable (France). This certificate lists radiofrequency wires and cables, included in the detail specification ESCC 3902/002. The initial qualification of these components was in December of 2009. The scope of the certificate has not changed, which means no new components have been included.
- Certificate 310D from Leach Sarralbe (France). This certificate list relays based on type M302, included in the detail specification ESCC 3602/009. The initial qualification of these components was in February of 1990. The scope of the certificate has not changed, which means no new components have been included.
- Certificate 311D from ST Microelectronics Rennes (France). This certificate lists switching diodes based on type 1N6640U and 1N6642U, included in the detail specifications ESCC 5101/026, ESCC 5101/027. The initial qualification of these components was in May of 2011. The scope of the certificate has not changed, which means no new components have been included.
- Certificate 326C from ST Microelectronics Rennes (France). This certificate lists P-Channel MOSFET based on type STRH40P10 and STRH12P10, included in the detail specifications ESCC 5205/025, ESCC 5205/029. The initial qualification of these components was in March of 2013. The scope of the certificate has not changed, which means no new components have been included.
About ESCC QPL (Qualified Parts List)
The ESCC Executive publishes a list of components and technologies which have been, respectively, qualified and capability approved to the rules of the ESCC Specification System and the results certified by ESA.
These components and technologies are intended for use in ESA and other European spacecraft and Space segment hardware in accordance with the requirements defined in the ECSS Standard, ECSS-Q-ST-60, Space Product Assurance – Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) Components.
