Incoming InspectionThe purpose of the incoming inspection is to identify potentially non-conforming parts, prior to placing the material in the inventory or moving it to the production flow. All parts and materials subject to receiving inspection are examined in accordance with customer purchase order requirements, drawings and standards, among others.

Experts in design, packaging and testing of high reliability components
Engineering Expertise
The experience and technical knowledge achieved by our engineers in the last years is a major lack of most space and harsh environment companies. Our engineering services support the customers to meet the stringent quality requirements of high-reliability applications.
Our Ph.D. and engineers are responsible to ensure that all parts will meet the specific requirements of each project. A wide range of inspections is needed to guarantee that the parts are suitable for the entire mission life, which requires a deep knowledge of microwave technology design and measurement.
Lessons Learned on RHA on the selection of COTS components in ESA projects

In several ESA projects, the use of COTs devices has increased recently. Their selection has often been driven by the project’s need to reduce cost and maintain performance. On the other end, the RHA engineering and testing needed to support the approval of these parts have been greatly increased and often underestimated, leading to facilities overbooking and unavailability. Considering the overall RHA efforts from the beginning of the design phase and the consolidation of alternative irradiation test methods is impelling.

Laser diodes characterization can be hard due to the laser’s nature. In the case of lasers, perfect control of current and temperature applied is mandatory. In addition, a good heat dissipation must be provided to avoid lasers being damaged. Special and complex equipment is required for a perfect characterization because accuracy is a must with thi
