Price Increase for the Listed Renesas Electronics America (REA) Radiation Hardened Space Products
Effective May 5, 2019 prices for a subset of Renesas Electronics America (REA)/Intersil legacy Radiation Hardened Space products, will be increased by approximately 25% for the flight grade packaged products and 20% – 50% for the die and /PROTO products. Customer orders placed by August 1, 2019, with a customer requested delivery (CRD) date on or before August 1, 2019, will receive shipments at the present price. All new orders after May 5, 2019, with a CRD after August 1, 2019, will be at the new price. The price increase is limited to only those products listed in this notice.
Please note, that previous price increase for Radiation Hardened Space products was May of 2014. These adjustments to the prices are necessitated by increased materials, maintenance, and overhead costs which must be amortized over decreasing quantities of these products. Recognizing that continuity of supply is very important, this increase will help reinforce the continued long term manufacture of these products. Renesas Electronics America Inc. intends to supply these products to current customers for the foreseeable future.

And later on, as Coordinator of the Parts Engineering and Purchasing Department, has been in charge of guarantee the proper EEE Parts selection/definition/testing to ensure the technical/schedule/budget compliance to projects requirements. With the continuous maintenance of the platform technical content, doEEEt provides to the space community the most updated and complete information about Hi-Rel EEE components, related documentation, and reports, as well as any associated procurement and testing activities.
