OHB and ESA organize the 18th European Symposium on Space Mechanisms and Tribology.

The symposium will host space mechanism professionals and industry leaders from around the world. Recognized as the main vehicle for Mechanism Engineers, experienced and new recruits, to come together to discuss and celebrate their successes and lessons learned, with a view to pooling their knowledge for the betterment of this unique community and the European space industry as a whole.

Attendees will be able to attend 3 courses during the symposium:

Space Tribology Course (STC) by ESTL
Course on Advanced Mechanism Design (AMDC) by ESA
Course on Space Mechanisms (SMC) by Launchspace
OHB and ESA welcome you to Germany and to the OHB facilities.

ESMATS will be attended by more than 250 space mechanism designers and engineers, space scientists, equipment suppliers, providers of specialized facilities and services, project managers and satellite programmes from all over the world who will participate and share knowledge on the main challenges and themes of current and future space programmes.
