Vishay is pleased to announce that its MKP338 6 Y2 300 VAC EMI suppression film capacitor has been requalified for robustness under high humidity.
This AEC-Q200 qualified device withstands the harsh environmental conditions of +85 °C with 85 % relative humidity for 500 h, biased at the rated voltage, while ensuring the stability of its key electrical parameters, in compliance with Grade IIB of the IEC 60384-14: AMD1 industry standard.
Under this requalification, the MKP3386 Y2 EMI suppression film capacitor has also been shown to withstand case temperatures of +125 °C at up to 500 h of continuous operation. Details about the product’s specifications can be seen on the datasheet. For even higher humidity robustness for Y2 applications, Vishay also offers the F340 Y2 305VAC, which is certified to IEC 60384-14: AMD1 for Grade IIIB (85 °C / 85 % RH / 1000 h at rated voltage).
