ISL7x061SEH & ISL7x062SEH
Renesas’ radiation-hardened load switches provide a simpler and smaller way to turn on and off your power rails in multi-rail power systems compared to a discrete FET. Load switches are also ideal for redundant power distribution, power sequencing and input-output protection of POL based power distribution systems.
Generic features include reverse current protection; a selectable on-chip load resistor to discharge the output when the switch is OFF and under-voltage lockout (UVLO) protection that keeps the switch OFF when the supply voltage is too low.
Simple ON/OFF digital control inputs make the device capable of interfacing directly with low voltage control signals from an FPGA, MCU or processor.
These devices operate across the military temperature range from -55°C to +125°C and are available in a 14 lead hermetically sealed ceramic dual flatpack (CDFP) or die form.
The ISL70061SEH and ISL73061SEH are single-channel load switch featuring an ultra-low 14mΩ rON PMOS pass device. It has an input switch voltage range of 3V to 5.5V and can support a maximum of 10A continuous current. Electrically screened to DLA SMD 5962-19208

PSPICE MODELS
Simulation models are a great way to evaluate the operation of an integrated circuit prior to or in conjunction with prototyping a system design. Models for the ISL70061SEH and ISL70062SEH are available online for our customers to download. The model simulates the load switch functionality and the typical performance across a temperature of the datasheet specification parameters. Basic ON/OFF control, Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO), Reverse Current Protection (RCP), selectable discharge MOSFET feature, and slow turn-on controlled rise time functions are modelled.
The PSPICE models can be found on the DOWNLOAD tab of the Device Information Page:
PSPICE MODEL APPLICATION NOTE
An application note on PSPICE models has been created to guide our customers through the use of the model.
The first section of the document provides a brief explanation of using the model to generate a general function test simulation. The simulation shows the functionality of ON/OFF control, UVLO, slow turn-on rise time, and the selectable discharge MOSFET feature.
The second section shows PSpice simulation results of the load switch compared to characterization test results using the ISL70061SEHEV1Z evaluation board.
The PSPICE model application note can be found on the DOCUMENTS tab of the Device Information Page:
