IFMIF-DONES is a critical facility in the roadmap toward commercial fusion energy dedicated to studying materials under extreme neutron irradiation for the future DEMO (fusion electrical energy plant). IFMIF-DONES will consist of a deuteron linear accelerator where the deuterons collide with a molten lithium target and generate a neutron beam that will irradiate DEMO materials.

Design for manufacturing is based on design rules from manufacturing processes for both the PCB and Electronics assemblers. Some authors prefer to have separate definitions for the PCB Printed Circuit Boards manufacturing by grouping them under different names DFF, Design for Fabrication and DFA, Design for Assembly for just the electronics assembly process.
