ABSTRACT
Space Insurance is an enabler of the development of the space industry, historically used mainly for large projects in GEO but now used for all types of space objects. Today the market is evolving with the development of COTS, fostering new types of units and types of satellites. As they will be more broadly used, space insurers need to understand the characteristics of COTS to include them properly in their risk analysis and to assess their potential impact on failure scenarios and overall reliability.

Speaker: Denis Bousquet – AXA XL
