The world transmits its electricity in AC, and there are many sound historical and technical reasons for that. Many of our devices don’t use electricity in the form and voltage it comes in from the AC mains. It has to be down-converted and many times changed from AC to DC. Doing that safely requires careful selection of components.
In this webinar, KEMET’s Pranjal Srivastava (Field Application Engineer) explains the solution behind designing in safe and effective passive components for power conversion from AC Main to the Device.
