Murata Completes New Production Facility for Chip Inductors, Noise Filters, and Common Mode Choke Coils

Murata Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn.Bhd. (Perak, Malaysia), a production subsidiary of Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., recently completed construction of a production facility that was started in October 2018, and a completion ceremony was held on Wednesday, February 12.
Murata Electronics (Malaysia) is building the needed infrastructure to accommodate further increases in demand, with the aim of expanding its manufacturing capacity in response to rising demand for electronic components for progressively sophisticated mobile devices (smartphones, etc.), as well as for electric vehicles.
New Production Building has 3 floors above ground and 1 tower building with total floor area 23,000 m2.
Murata Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn.Bhd has been established in April 1994 and its production focus on chip inductors, noise filters, and common mode choke coils. Currently (January 31,2020) it has 1,161 employees.
